This is brilliant! Time saver. Effortless use. Love it!
Really undervalued tool so far. It’s better than the Web Developer chrome extension, I would say.
Been using this for a few years and it’s incredibly useful. Both for your own work but also showing clients in real-time, the effects that JS is having on their site.
The only issue I’ve had with it, is that some sites just refuse to be loaded. Even if the site works when turning off js in your browser, it can give the “refused to connect” message when using the side by side. Not a huge problem, but it can give you a bit of a scare in that the site doesn’t work without JS at all(even though when testing in other ways it works).
Not sure why it happens but other than that I can highly recommend it!
That’s for the X-Frame-Options: DENY response header, because this side by side thing is done in iframes. If the site you’re using it on has this specific header, browser can’t load the content due to the restriction. The creator actually mentioned this issue on that page. Other than that, it’s a fantastic little tool. 🙌
