  • Hi @Vikrant, here are a couple of great resources to help you assess and fix those: https://seotesting.com/google-search-console/crawled-not-currently-indexed/ and https://www.onely.com/blog/how-to-fix-crawled-currently-not-indexed-in-google-search-console/ 🙂 I hope these are usually!

  • Hi!
It does mean that Google has crawled the pages but considered that they are not useful for a series of reasons as, citing a couple,
    1) being the page xxx of a giant pagination.
    2) being a parametized URL that does not imply a substantial change in the content (usually these also tend to be fold up toward a “canonical” decide by Google, as indicated in the report “Google chose another canonical vs the one indicated by the user” (or similar).
So, pages that are “low quality” in the sense that they do add anything that is already offered by other indexed pages.
Our work is to understand patterns, and see if these pages should be indexed or not. For instance, in case of gigantic pagination, you could consider the idea to not let index a paginated list starting from a given number of page (and this could also improve the crawl budget).
If a recurring parameter is presented, see if it would be better to block its crawling or, if that type of parameter impact on content, see how to improve the page in terms of substantial duplication.
    And so o.

  • Crawled—Currently Not Indexed: Googlebot crawled these pages but didn’t index them. That doesn’t mean those pages won’t be indexed at all.

Indexing coverage reports don’t give you the most recent information (because they are updated twice a week), so there’s a chance some of them are already indexed but not yet reflected in the report. For the most up-to-date information, you can use the URL Inspection Tool and check the indexing status.

    Here’s what you can do:

    – Check the quality of the pages and improve them if needed.
    – Use the URL Inspection Tool to check the current status.
    – Request for indexing if you believe those pages should be indexed.

    Thanks!
